Acid Stain Flooring recommends to clean the floor with neutral cleaner found in all the janitorial supply shops. Weep debris, mop and if desired you can apply a mop on wax.

When waxing it is important that you use a “finishing mop head” found at Home Depot or at the Janitorial supply shop.
Do not use the same mop that you use for cleaning. When waxing wet the mop first and then ring out all of the water. With the mop still damp you apply a cup of wax directly on your floor and start spreading it around. No buffing is required. Simply allow 25 minutes to past in order for the coat to cure and then if you wish you can reapply a second and third coat in the same manner allowing 25 minutes in between each coat.
